How many bikes are too many bikes?
By mike | April 23, 2007
I bought a new bike this year - The Cannondale 29 Lefty, Caffeine model. Silver and black. Oh so cool. Because of the left-side configuration, my bike dealer is having a heck of a time installing a slick new wireless cadence-speed-heartbeat-distance computer from Delphi.
They’re also having some issues with a rack for panniers, which I’ll need for some of the touring I plan this year. I’ll be carrying a computer, a video cam, extra batteries and the like so I can do video blogging from the trails and roads.
So the bike will be in the shop this week. I did ride it over the weekend and am anxious to get it broken in. Also ordered a new Brooks 17 saddle.
The Cannondale joins a Trek roadie, a Gary Fisher MB and a Bianchi Axis cross in my garage.
There’s no excuse now not to ride, is there?
