Back in the saddle again

By | July 22, 2008

AFter taking the weekend off (Sat and Sun) after the Michigander, I was back on the bike Monday. I try to do 20 miles a day during the week and hit Stony Creek Metro Park in Macomb County, which has to be one of the best places for nice training rides you can find in the metro area.

There’s a whole group of folks out there, many of them retirees, including one guy who is 80 years old and who does 20-2 every day.

Anyway, it felt so good to be back riding that I am seriously considering retiring myself and just being a bike bum.

After Aug 15, I’ll be one of those retirees burning laps at Stoney. One of the younger ones, of course. :-)
